Following studies to specialize in orthopedics, Dr. Raslan earned the title of specialist for orthopedics at the hospital Fachkrankenhaus für Orthopedie ( Waldkrankenhaus ) located in Bad Düben, Germany.
In 1992, he completed his doctorate in medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Leipzig in Leipzig, Germany. In 1993, he was granted the title of orthopedist.
From 1993 to 1999, Dr. Raslan was employed as an orthopedist and head physician at the hospital in Bad Düben mentioned above. In 1997, he was also recognized as a specialist for rheumatology.
Since 1997, he has been a registered doctor with his own practice in Berlin, recognized as an orthopedist by the German National Health Insurance system and thus allowed to treat patients insured under this system as well as privately insured patients.
